Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with industry standards
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience as an auto technician (preferred)
• ASE certifications (preferred)
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Fast, eager learner and team player
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver’s license
Additional Duties
Additional Duties:
Quality check vehicles as necessary. Assure that all vehicles have the maintenance minder reset prior to the guest taking the vehicle. Expedite works through the shop during peak times. Report any issues with vehicle lifts, air-lines, or any equipment malfunctions to the service manager immediately.

• Greeting customers promptly
• Obtaining customer and vehicle information
• Reviewing vehicle repair histories in dealership files and verifying any needs for recalls through the manufacturers' online system
• Preparing a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Monitoring the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers as needed
• Verifying that the final invoices reconcile with the work performed on the R.O.
• Overseeing the delivery of vehicles to the customer after their visit from the cashier
• Participating in Manufacturers sponsored trainings and programs

Our Express Service Technician will be responsible for servicing vehicles as assigned by our service advisors. The Express Technician checks and changes the engine oil/filter; checks tire pressure and condition, filters, windshield wiper fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, transmission and differential fluids, and engine coolant. He/She will know how to top off or replace these fluids and maintenance-related parts as required. The ideal Express Technician has an unrestricted driver's license, a clean driving record, a minimum of one year of vehicle servicing experience, an aptitude and interest in vehicle maintenance, and strong analytical and communication skills.
